Although ampoules and vials look the same to the untrained eye, they are different storage containers with different purposes. Ampoules are smaller and used to hold a single dose of medicine, while vials tend to be larger and the product in them can be stored and reused.
Ampoules are small, hermetically sealed glass containers that protect the contents from air and contamination. Gentle and precise handling of these fragile products is a matter of course for us – regardless of which product step.
In the medical field, ampoules are generally used to store single dose injections, common specifications are 1, 2, 5, 10 and 20mL. Ampoules are divided into glass ampoules and plastic ampoules according to their use.
